Ms. Heimur has taught at many Music & Art Academies throughout the New York City vicinity. She is currently on the performing arts faculty at the College of Staten Island as Professor of Voice while she also maintains a private voice studio. Many of her students have not only won various vocal competitions and talent pageants, but are singing professionally in opera, Music Theater and Broadway, both in the United States and abroad.
Ms. Heimur welcomes new students that are serious about developing their talent in the world of music. She has been the inspiration to many young artists who have developed their skills in voice and piano beyond their wildest dreams.

Ms. Heimur is a dynamic, innovative and accomplished teaching professional offering over 20 years of diverse experience in the field of vocal pedagogy. She's demonstrated expertise in the full scope of teaching, and coaching related to vocal development, including vocal technique, repertoire, and languages, as well as interpretive and dramatic coaching for classical and musical theater forms. She has a proven her ability to foster a cohesive student learning atmosphere and teach large groups of individuals or on a one-on-one basis. Promote and encourage individuality, self-confidence and personal growth through the implementation of sound teaching philosophies and methodologies.
Ms. Heimur also has extensive performance experience as a vocal soloist on a professional international level performing in opera, oratorio and concert. She has trained with world class voice teachers, vocal coaches and conductors in the music world, & is proficient in Russian and Ukrainian, with a working knowledge of Italian, German and French.

Designed and implemented curriculum for a new course that focused on singing, acting, and stage performances for students who maintained a GPA of 3.6 or higher and exemplified potential. She performed student background assessment to develop tailored lesson plans based on student aptitude and needs, and taught material on a one-on-one format, as well as group vocal classes.
Collaborated with a team of faculty to organize student-led Young Artist performances and recitals, & participated in two faculty concerts every school year, performing as a vocal soloist.
